yup… Single stage…    I like it… and think it works for this project… Hard part is done, problem is fixed…  I had to do a few hub cap clips, and had to tighten a few up also. no worries… about to start moving them and the bumpers in the booth….!!!!!!! 😀

How do you guys like the paint??  It is easy peasey to bring that seagull grey back down the nose more….. There just wasn’t much seagull grey there, and it went through quick… 😉   I don’t mind it.. but looking at the old nose pic.. It has a lot less mango showing through on the front… almost looks MORE patina’d now than before… but now the rust is gone and repaired…    Trade one thing for another… 😉   but it won’t rot now.  😉  😉  😉  😉  😉  😉

Gonna look so good with crispy white bumpers and wheels…   🙂  🙂

It looks good as far as a fauxtina blend goes, but it might be a little too aggressive for the rest of the bus?  Other than the roof and a few spots on the beltline it doesn’t look like it has quite that much mango showing through the sea gull grey anywhere else.

Id say the same. Id like to see it with a little more seagull grey. But I don’t know what KB wants. Definitely is a trade off

yep… my thoughts too….  If I do bring that sea gull grey down, I need to tint what I have… it’s not exact, and needs to be closer… That was part of my reason for sanding through so far, so they were not butted up to each other, very obvious.  anyway… I don’t mind either way… but there are about 3-4 other worse more noticeable blends… sooo… do I make all of em look better now? 😮

Bus is at paint store getting colors dead nut matched…. I was just using some stuff I had from maybe dans??  maybe George’s?  who knows…  I leaned way more towards the patina side than you guys wanted…  But coloring is easy… 😉  😉  😉   The bumpers and wheels are drying, wheels were only painted on outside surface per OG .. 😉

So… I did finally get my new matched mango and seagull grey yesterday.     Here it is before and after… I think is more what you guys were after. 😉   I will lsightly sand and buff it in the morning, with intentions of not breaking through at all… but a minor break through will add some faux patin and belief in possible all original paint.. 😉  If thats possible

and so…. after I did that…. I thought I would take it upon my self to go ahead and fix this spot, I am SURE my new mango will be better than that… 😉  😉  😉   You know… it’s not like I am trying to leave for sst tomorrow or anything… 🙄  🙄   I’m running out of tomorrows!!!!!!

well… SeaGull Grey s great, but the mango….humm.. Not so close. 🙄  🙄   so I repaired the crack and sprayed some primer over it.. Franz will have to run the bus back up to ColorWheel and get the mango matched better..  I did spray it on there, but it was so off, I wiped right off… 🙄
