Dialed in and almost ready to run. Working on the kadron carbs now. Fixed all kind of little things like nut-serts for the coil mount, spark plug wire clips, draft tube, and tin behind the pulley. Install and drive tomorrow.

Thanks it was my first ever build from scratch. We hope to attend BBB . Hopefully a few others this year. Looking forward to just putting some miles on it and building shit loads of memories in it!🤙🏽

Those kadrons were f’d. Water/rust. I took apart every core we had to combine into the perfect set. OG brass floats should last forever. I like to tweak the accelerator jet tube up-hill, so as to keep the fuel in it. .095” check ball in place under the tube.

Rusty left some Treuhaft manifolds a while back. They’re your’s now. Polished runners too.

Doghouse cooler tin, seals, and chrome breast plate.

Installing into the bus, with new fuel hoses this evening.

Franz! Wow man that’s all I can say . It looks amazing I bet it’s gonna run just as good as it looks . Bubba was definitely right when he told me all the badass things about you guys down at KCW . Your skills and knowledge and passion for these old V Dubs shows. Happy to have found a place to take my rides and hope to get to know you all more over some beers sometime. Thanks for the update.
