Nice work!!  Nice to have some one who can get it done on a schedule…. Douglas is getting old and slow at a pace quicker than setter concrete in the summer😏😏😏😏😏

I noticed the brake lever was missing its return spring. Also rusted together. Fixed that, along with an oversized pin for the accelerator linkage pivot.

I started on head re-torque/valve adjust. #3 exhaust valve stem is worn to the keepers. This isn’t going to run much longer. Due to not having lash caps on the stems with ratio rockers.

I got the OK from Antonio to take the heads off of his engine. Found rust pits in all 4 cylinders. So, I took the cylinders off to look inside of the case. Lifters and cam look ok. I retorqued the case studs, and all seems good. I’m going to order a new top end for this 1600cc so we can put it back together next week.

Headliner is tight! Back seat looks like the kids were playing back there lol. They usually do, all that material will settle in.

    Nice work Pat!

I tested all the wiring and assembled the dash/steering. We had a couple missing parts here.

The spindles and beam needed greased too. Speedometer cable installed, and toe set.

Ready for the engine as soon as we get parts.
