Baird’s 58 vert looking good. Normal maintenance.
The engine rolls over easy. Stock compression was only something like 7:1 on a 36hp…Baird said it’s the most reliable of the fleet- no problems.I know Don Fugate did a lot of work on this car, and it was in HotVW’s one time.
What color is that?
nice car. Little sewing machines are very reliable
My old 57 would start up in 0 degree weather on its 6V electrics with very little struggle…..love those baby motors!!!!😀
Don’t anyone blink…. but I think this area of work has been caught up!!! 😎
Just wait until the weather warms up a bit more haha!…
Gonna be Dune Buggy central soon…. watch out!!! and then everyone’s gonna want to spend their income tax refunds!!!!!
OH BOY.
Hey Pat/Riley..i was hoping to bring the 64 beetle down sometime mid month for headliner install and a couple little things. let me know when a good time would be. Thanks

Can’t believe you said the Parkway Projects were caught up!!! Watch Out!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There is no way the Parkway projects are caught up. I still have not broken toys.
Dan’s mango engine case got all the lifter bores re-bushed at Rimco and its on the way back. We should be able to start assembling next week.
Yeah Doug, bring it down. We’ll work it in. Does it need sunroof parts too?

I need to do some parkway work on my Pamper!!!! 😎 Trans is coming out and going to painters… it has a howl when you crank it up in the morning.. and seems like waaay tooo much freeplay somewhere…. 😎 Maybe I should ask if I can get in line in the parkway work?? 😎 😎 😎 Funny… if you think about it… Paying someone else and me billing shop hours makes more CENTS $$.. no pun intended…. 😎 😎 😎
We got Dan’s mango case back from Rimco. Sleeved aluminum lifter bores ready for assembly today.
Another super beetle with electrical problems.
Blaine is working on it now!!! Thanks Blaine for coming in on a Saturday… 😎 😎 😎
