Nope, I used the small gun to spray sealer into and under the cooling vents.

The red 80 vert had several issues, it seemed like the electrical plug under the rear seat that feeds power the dual relays for the ecu/fuel pump had a bad connection…Weston wiggled it, and it ran great. I buttoned-up that project this morning and sent it on its way.

More fuel injection problems. 11/74 super beetle. You can see the #4 plug is wet, maybe a stuck injector? it passed the leak down test on that cylinder.
Note the melted spark plug connector indicates that it was overheated.

#3 cylinder had 52% leak through the intake valve. Loose seat from getting hot maybe?? I’m not sure I’ll do much more than test/replace the #4 injector.
The customer doesn’t want to invest much…it’s kind rusty car, and I don’t think it’ll drive much further than across town.

You guys really are motivated to get that super done.. 😎  Looks like they got some engine tin done last night… Looks as good as a customers motor!!!  And I have a super sitting front and center in my clean shop .. lucky me…  and on my home page… !!!!  Hell, the whole clean shop is super crazy!

Zack. can you get that super off my home page so I don’t get too invested in this super junk…. cause I am not interested!  No supers on the home page…!

Gerhard’s 95 Mexican beetle had several issues. Cracked hose inside of the ecu being the biggest. This car was a taxi so it has a security system and anti-tamper bolts that made it difficult to remove the ecu.

Running good now, no codes. Waiting on a nos muffler/cat from Antonio Trejo with VW Mexico.
