Thanks for the great work on my car. I feel a huge torque increase at low RPM, which is what I was hoping for.  Yep, the throttle mods have made it a lot more driveable.  I’ll probably need some more work on it this spring if you can fit me in.  Question:  What is the brand of air filter you put on it. I need to look up the cleaning and oiling procedures.

I think ALOT of the parkway problems are due to cheap gas, COLD ass winter, and lack of use in these months…

Bit of Bay Wonder lovin’ today.

New local, Matt, fresh from the PNW.

Checked card jetting, adjusted valves, changed oil, tuned up. Trans was filled of ATF?…drained that, filled r’up with fresh 80/90w gear oil.

Matt wants to lower the front a smidgen. Parts list made. More to come.

^^^ This one is stock, inside, outside and underneath currently.

It’s squatting in the back, so we’re going to put drop spindles up front to even it out. That will also allow it to fit in his trailer with the roof rack on.

I’m Parkway lovin today.

Another VW that just moved to town. Checked card jetting and a basic tune up. Done.

 

Parts arrived this morning for a 2” drop spindle swap on Matt’s bay. Digging in.

Finished the drop spindle swap this morning. EMPI spindles went right on with no mods. Ready to drive home.

Has just the slightest nose down rake now. Looks great!!!
