Every inching of space I finished off JJ was right behind me body working the areas. Corners and pass rear rocker done. 23749A94-58A8-4E8D-A215-A7E149828835

He also started sanding the lower cab area and a couple other spots for sealer/paint prep. 139A3129-CE22-4D93-8F7E-D15D677BBFBE

The only nice spot to match this red is under the camper plug on the rear corner…..

Glad to see this is going to stay Titan Red and Beige Grey. I can only think of one other SO42 and one SO44 in Titan Red and BG that are still in that color scheme. Not a very common color especially since most Titan Red buses faded down to the OG primer quicker than other buses so they got re-painted early in life.

Well…. shit is moving forward..   We decided to change the bottom of the front cargo door… so we are waiting on that… But I think we will go ahead and get the outside in primer so we can start looking inside!!!!

Craig… You gonna be at Mitch’s this weekend???  Hope so… 😎  If you don;t… you know we will be talking about you… 😎

We have way more time and metal into this project than we originally thought..  It seems like we just keep making it nicer and nicer..  Projects like this are very hard to draw the line on….    but we will get there…  we always do… Thats whats so cool about this place… we always get it done.. 😎

Craig…fender wells… you cool with undercoating?  JJ though it was the best way to handle it.

After a week hiatus due to being sick, finally got back to work! Dad had me sand the fender wells before we got to undercoating. Dad sprayed the front drivers side fender but I sprayed the rest.

Show me that dash repair and interior.  I am getting excited a bit. This buses first major road trip will be Canada/ Alaska. This will be her second life. Her first life was spent in Central America until 1978 then was driven to  Missouri where it and its owner followed the  grateful dead. Many more adventures ahead for this one. Thank you kcw for helping revive this bus…

Got early start today….Dissected the crusty lower inner. Fit and tacked in the new section, needed a couple relief cuts to get it lined up.

Ready to burn it in, then get this area body worked and primed.6C6EB095-A46B-4ED8-BCB0-740D94D996ED0F802C32-AF46-4FC9-8B96-543A2F343AD8
