    Pat or John,

Could you guys measure the Gerson metal bed piece that goes from the wall below the rear window to the large rear bed sections for me.  I am trying to see if they are long enough for my short single cab project.

Pat or John, Could you guys measure the Gerson metal bed piece that goes from the wall below the rear window to the large rear bed sections for me. I am trying to see if they are long enough for my short single cab project.

They are a bit short Scott. I had to use the rear panels on my shorty. The full size bed is a bit over 8′ long accounting for the rear gate, so the rear panels are needed for the extra material to do the pinched seam.

I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.

I know I say it everyday, but the progress is amazing!  What’s left of the funky green metal?  Front floor, back floor, rear corner, d-pillar, front load bed, and load bed separation panel?

Gerson’s parts, the amazing appreciation in the prices of buses, and skilled folks like the KCW Krew, have saved a lot of buses from the scrap heap.

Looks good guys.  I dropped the motor off at a shipper today (I gave them the shop number as contact info).  Not yet sure when it will arrive.It94+539TzWgC%RkL5Tm1Q

The shroud and alt are attached.  The heater boxes are secured to the pallet, but separated from the motor.  I removed the carb and intake manifold as they won’t be needed.  I’m going to box up the lower tins tomorrow and send.   They may not be worth saving, but you guys can tell me.

Wait until you see the zebra striped tins, they are pretty amazing…not!  Oh and I apologize in advance for the moving wrap, I got carried away.  Nothing a razor blade can’t make short work of.
