Drivetrain is looking good. Can’t wait to see it come together, especially the front beam with those front disks.
Keep the best one of those old tires to mount back on the spare.
JJ body worked and primed the pedestal yesterday. Will most likely see some color later today.
I got started on trans assy. We need to order new bearings for the redux boxes. That should happen today along with a few other pieces as well.
Finished blasting parts this morning. We decided to lightly blast the wheels and keep the tough as nails powder coat as a base.
Working on tin fits and repairs this morning.
We will build it if it comes.
Easy day yesterday… 😎 😎
I’m going to paint L21 today on the last few parts… Then back to more assy!!!!! I could paint rims I guess…. yeah…. But I’m waiting on the bumpers till I have a slash rear…
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Sounds good….Love seeing the assembly!
Makes sense to wait on the rims until you have all the white parts. I had no idea that those rims had already been powder coated.

Get the link pin kit. Does the beam need a King Pin replacement also? I want the steering to be SAFE!

Fresh pearl grey.
Suspension going in.
I was able to get all the tin fit and exhaust yesterday. The vintage speed stuff is super nice and feels really solid. Going to weld up heater box flanges then start body working tins this morning.
Made up a double barrel draft tube.
Big holes for fresh air tubes.
Looking tight and right!
We will build it if it comes.
Suspension and powerpack coming together! Looks great guys.
Franz ordered up the last heap of parts needed to assemble this rig…. Things are looking good and are all in order…
