You’re the second person that said an orange-ish interior.
I’d be all over some tweed… 😎 two toned, charcoal and grey, with grey piping… 😎 all around up and down like a mini truck! 😎
cleaning up shit, painting shit, getting shit ready for the final assy phase!!!! except that heavy mechanical stuff. 😎
That steering wheel kicked my ass yesterday!!!! but it looks pretty bitchen now… 😎 OG stiffy!!!!! 😎 😎
You’ve got nice complete headlight buckets.. easy clean up, repaint, polish etc… even OG rings I think… they are not perfect… not at all.. but I would run em…. easy to change thing later too… I am more into function over show… 😎
Pushed it out for a few pics for ya…. Looks awesome!
Looking great Mike.. Hope your equally happy!!!! 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
John did Oxblood on his grey Vert, I copied it on my bare metal 356!! Silvers and Oxblood look great together!!! Timeless!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Very happy! The DC looks great!
It looks like WW has 64-67 backing plates both driver and passenger sides. Do you want to just add those to the parts order you’re already making?
Finally do you have any recommendations for interior panel suppliers? Have you used Sewfine outta Denver in the past? I have a catalog for them and they look good from the marketing materials. I’m thinking I’ll have panels shipped to you. I’ll have seat covers sent to me and I’ll do the seats here and bring them when I pick up the truck.

I think this would look great as well
WCCR specializes in stock interior and materials. If you’re going that route, I’d ask for a Mango bus carmel interior.
I’m not sure if it was worth it, but I sent the wiper arms and blades in the mail today. The arms are ok, the blades are spent.
Got the wipers… Thanks..
Franz ordered some door kits and seals last week… I guess I will start assembling windows and such…

Sounds good. Looks like you guys had a blast this weekend. I got to see Scott’s DC at Dallas Dub Splash yesterday. Nice looking rig with a lot of cool differences, because it’s an early DC.
Looking forward to some assembly updates (and keeping the project off of page three 😜)
Back on this one. All set up to start assembly over in the dirty shop since it’s empty. Windows first.
We will build it if it comes.
we got all these painted parts that need to go on a truck!!!! 😎 window assy!!!!! 😎 about as fun as racking leaves…. 😎

Mike… You think you are going to want the cali shine on this rig? aka, sand and buff?? It doesn’t need it all, as in, it is real clean, real consistent peel on the parts and truck.. it looks og commercial… Scotty’s I think is buffed… So you do have some orange peel…. whats your thought… no big deal to me… I’m proud of it either way!!!! 😎
