JJs been working on your pass door lower repairs today.
I started on the cargo floors. Almost there. Just a bit left to burn in tomorrow morning.
We will build it if it comes.mdubgParticipantFebruary 12, 2019 at 6:27 pmPost count: 253

Nice Pat!!! That’s some focus!!!!! 🙂John JonesKeymasterFebruary 13, 2019 at 8:20 amPost count: 4789
Pat kicks ass… thats no doubt. I am lucky to have such a motivated mother fucker on my team…. 😎 😎
I got some door work done, while I had the inner structure cut out I ran out to the baster and cleaned all that rust up., then etch primed all up in there!!! … then started fitting the new inner structure.. I’m ready for the outside now…. 😎mdubgParticipantFebruary 13, 2019 at 9:36 amPost count: 253
I’ve worked in that gas compartment to clean out the house insulation and tar that was in there…not fun! Great job Pat.
JJ, thanks for cleaning those doors up! They are going to be sweet!
Franz, can’t wait to see that motor together and running. If you guys have anyone that’s looking for a stock build case for a fair price, I’ll sell it. If not, I’ll pick it up with the bus and put it on TS.John JonesKeymasterFebruary 13, 2019 at 2:28 pmPost count: 4789
I got the pass door ready to go back on the bus… what a pain in the ass…. Also noticed someone put some later door handles in this door before… I was a little worried how to fix it.. but I think I got it… 😎 Drivers coming up now…
Pat has been burried in the “treasure chest” area of this rig all day…. He’s kicking it ass…. 😎mdubgParticipantFebruary 13, 2019 at 6:48 pmPost count: 253
Amazing how many holes were lurking under the filler and paint on this bus. Thanks for fixing it up proper.Pat KKeymasterFebruary 15, 2019 at 6:37 amPost count: 857
Finished all the metal work in the treasure chest area on Wednesday. Glad that’s over with. 😎
We will build it if it comes.mdubgParticipantFebruary 15, 2019 at 7:14 amPost count: 253
Wow! Literally, all the metal work! I see the divider panel, the rust repair on the lower-drivers opening, the gas tank cradles, everything! Looks great!PeteParticipantFebruary 15, 2019 at 8:18 amPost count: 673
Y’all are kicking ass on this thing! And Pat’s shirt is awesome. 😉John JonesKeymasterFebruary 15, 2019 at 9:11 amPost count: 4789
so I got the other door cut open for surgery.. Thats what this is…. Surgery on a cancer patient. Rust is Cancer. I’m always trying to get rid of it.. the last “Doc” who worked on this patient just scabbed some metal over the rust… Thats not gonna work this time… I got it cut open and found the inner structure thinner than a whores word… It pretty much fell off…. But it’s yoru lucky day Mike…. I happen to have that section we need…. from another dissected door… We have the tools, we have the motivation, and we have the spares that make this the place, and the only one stop shop on earth…. 😎John JonesKeymasterFebruary 15, 2019 at 12:57 pmPost count: 4789
Got more done, Pat’s on the rear corner as I type… I am ready to weld the inner skin on. I like to try and leave the outskin on while I am fitting the inner to make sure I am “inside the lines” 😎 easy to get the bottoms of doors off… also why I try not to disturb the lower hinge….mdubgParticipantFebruary 15, 2019 at 1:56 pmPost count: 253
Everyday, I’m amazed at the rust that get’s uncovered. So cool 😎
