I was thinking that was a scrape down the side that caught the jamb and the cargo door was later changed but you’re probably right.

Either way I’m looking forward to seeing how straight the jamb comes out cause when I fix a spot like that it’s never quite right. When KCW does that fix it is right.

Got the pass. rear out rigger and jack point in yesterday. Also fit and tacked in pass. lower bed side section. E6773ECD-CFA8-420D-AA04-0AE2E9FEDF05B75B123D-7DC5-4C60-B29C-76532E4A139EC4614592-7DA1-4E07-AF29-F170B98006E4

Bed side body line is a hammer over lip. Bit of a pain. Feel like I nailed it. Straight and tight!imageimage

We will build it if it comes.

If I got as many “safety breaks” at work as I remember your crew takes, I’d be pretty happy and relaxed too! 🙂

    Pat or John,

Could you guys measure the Gerson metal bed piece that goes from the wall below the rear window to the large rear bed sections for me.  I am trying to see if they are long enough for my short single cab project.

Pat or John, Could you guys measure the Gerson metal bed piece that goes from the wall below the rear window to the large rear bed sections for me. I am trying to see if they are long enough for my short single cab project.

They are a bit short Scott. I had to use the rear panels on my shorty. The full size bed is a bit over 8′ long accounting for the rear gate, so the rear panels are needed for the extra material to do the pinched seam.
