Thanks for the extra motivation!! I rarely if ever straight flip, the excitement of a new bus usually means I do something…and ignore everything else.
Got front brakes sorted and cleaned. Thought the discs would fit but 63s are wierd.
Yeah, mix of stuff so I just cleaned and reused what I could.
Pulled engine, cleaned and put new boots on. Engine runs!
DC in incredibly solid in both trays…but really dusty and dirty.

We can never know what kind of place people are in physically, emotionally, or financially. That’s why I never take anyone’s words personally. They come from them, and hardly meet the full weight of reality. The ultimate realization is that we are living with one Truth. We are hurtling toward our eventual outcome, and some people are not even cognizant of that Truth. Our brains fight it off with the perfect delusion, it’s what keeps us going everyday.
This is, that ‘doing’. I doubt anyone can understand these ramblings, as we all come to the water in different ways, but all I can do is try to explain where the well is. For me, this is my hobby. I don’t care if I work 30 days in a row or 2 in 7 months. Finding a bus, is RUSH. That delusion is the furthest away, and taking something that so closely mimics our final end point, and bringing it back to life. JOY! When people offer the most banal of explanations, it makes me laugh. I’m sorry I’m not laughing at anyone, just the predicament we are in together.
Enjoy your time here. Find the thing that gives you a rush, and try to understand that people do for different reasons. So, to answer your question in the most simplest of terms, money is literally the last reason for me to do this. Peace!
