That’s easy, just count the paint rings. 🙂

We’re celebrating the annual Day of the VW ,December 5  and I’ve done the graphics on a chalkboard for the poster  ….the theme being “Patina”

The People’s Choice award will be one of Mark Walker’s beautiful books. Thanks Mark for your contribution.

We expect around 230 cars this year.

    This is a buddy’s van

    Thanks guys

The outline image is drawn using the Posca paint pens and then I use pastels and traditional chalk for the colour. To seal the finished work ,I spray with this Workable Fixitive. It helps to seal it ,however doesn’t make it permanent. I’ve tried clear matt paint spray to seal ,but it dulls the image. 4A4D84DF-AEE6-4530-BAAD-60EF69C24D6AD845E8CD-B593-4D5F-B37B-401AF05884A8

once I’d drawn the van graphic,we photographed it and did the wording etc in Photoshop for the poster and t shirt.

The Happy Hour A-frame in the background is all Posca pen,as it is for outdoor use.You still get the  chalky look, with more durability.

I’m happy to say that Creig Hart is back home with his family!! 🥰🥰

    A92983E1-4C19-42C4-BDBB-5336CE24FEED

He is recovering from his strokes faster than we expected which is so amazing – he’s walking around with some assistance and making jokes like the Creig we know and love 😁

I left California the day after he got home and now Hayleys Mom is there and the fam is settling into their new normal ♥️

Thank you for all the well wishes!! I showed Creig all the thumbs up pictures and it sure brought a smile to his face 🥰

This will probably get passed over without much attention, but it really hit a cord with me, as I just lost a friend. Diagnosed Monday, died yesterday of a rare and aggressive lung cancer. This is Jim Breuer on a Joe Rogan podcast talking about COVID.

If this is inappropriate please delete it or let me know and I will.  Just thought this might be an opportunity for one or more of the folks here or someone you all know who needs a job.  I have a friend who runs an excavation outfit and has a job going in the Grand Junction area and they need at least one or two laborers.  Specific needs are – show up on time, sober, willing to do hard work. Any experience working with equipment would be a bonus. Anyone who does a good job on this project stands a good chance at being offered a full time job at the end of this project.  Any interest you can call me (John) 970-872-4804 and I’ll put you in touch.

Not without notice as i work in healthcare and have for the past decade. It is very hard on staff as well without visitors, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Even before the past 18 months the staff take the brunt of the emotion hope with us if the patient has no visitors. Healthcare workers are human and believe me we do not enjoy the lack of visitors for patients either.

Agreed! Have a number of friends in health care, and they are exhausted. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.
