That road racing shit is fun!!! Up in Stockton they open it up to cars in the kart track sometimes. Sucks about your leg but glad you had fun!

Looks like a ton of fun though! I remember one of my friends saying that putting a racing seat in his car was the single best modification for driving, if you’re gonna be railing it around corners!John JonesKeymasterApril 27, 2020 at 9:05 amPost count: 6535

Took some photos of the Capri Blue 58, getting it ready to list on Bring a Trailer. I’d say they turned out pretty cool!Scott SainParticipantApril 27, 2020 at 3:34 pmPost count: 265
Painted my Ghia last week. Took it to the shop Monday. Body worked it Tuesday. Painted it Wednesday. Put it back together Thursday. New trim and nose badge came in today. Ready for the track!John JonesKeymasterApril 28, 2020 at 7:19 amPost count: 6535FranzKeymasterApril 28, 2020 at 7:41 amPost count: 3531
A few days of work doubled the value of your car. Nice work👍Scott SainParticipantApril 28, 2020 at 7:43 amPost count: 265
Dang! Coming from you, I’ll take that as a compliment. I think you’ve inspired more people than you realize to kick ass. And thank you for that!
I used Pete’s old bumpers on this makeover. When he got the new ones for his Ghia, I bough these in anticipation of using them on this car at some point. When we decided on the glossy paint, we felt that bumpers would make it a drastic change. I think it has a sleeper look now.Scott SainParticipantApril 28, 2020 at 7:45 amPost count: 265MikeKParticipantApril 28, 2020 at 10:10 amPost count: 233

That looks great Scott! Weather looks great also. We been getting weekly tornados here in the upstate. It’s pouring rain at the moment. Posed to be a beautiful weekend though.
Your Ghia looks outstanding. I’ll see it this year if the events get to go on as I hope they do.
