Anyone else spot the Oval in F vs F? Neither did I, but my boy just spotted it! 😎

Sighting #2. Dove blue split bus. And a big window beetle? Pretty sure big window beetles weren’t around yet.

You should post those on the Samba. There’ a whole thread dedicated to VW sightings in movies/TV.

Hey what’s up guys !!
Long time no posty, hope everything is good in your neck of the woods, summertime time here, hasn’t rained in months so I got the ragtop back on the road after a extended winter break.
Sure is good to be back in a vintage volks.Kid 63ParticipantFebruary 16, 2020 at 7:16 pmPost count: 45

The top on this land cruiser looks strange. Is it anything desirable?DozerParticipantFebruary 21, 2020 at 10:48 amPost count: 36
Those old Land Cruisers are in pretty high demand amongst the collectors and the Overland crowd. The guys here in East TN go absolutely ape shit over them.
Would be interested in what year that is. Looks like one of the really early J20 or J30 models vs the J40. The 1955-1960 models had those 3 window tops with the ribs around the side windows. If its in salvageable shape and can be had for a decent price, it might be worth snatching up to turn a few bucks on. The 70’s models seem to be all over the place and really bringing the bucks. But the ones that are that old arent nearly as prevalent. My neighbor has 3 of them from the 70’s, I’ll show him the pic and see what he may know about it.dirtylawnchairParticipantFebruary 21, 2020 at 12:04 pmPost count: 55
Looks to be 64/65 ish Land Cruiser FJ40. Here is some examples.

Sold in 2017 but nice photos.
These and other Toyota trucks are shooting up in value fast. With your skills and mechanical knowledge, I’d be all over this!ryans65ParticipantFebruary 21, 2020 at 12:26 pmPost count: 94
The early ones had that bifolding style rear window as well as the corrugated sides on the hardtop. Good flipper right there if the price is right and I’m guessing very little rust because you fuckers live on the right side of the country for old cars hahahaPat KKeymasterFebruary 21, 2020 at 12:59 pmPost count: 1195
Franz is good at getting you guys amped up. LOL!!
