I can’t tell any difference in my neck fusion… Can you Kevin? Mobility wise.. But it made a huge difference….!!!! I guess I am about to have surgery three.. and 4 is inevitable. So far…. every surgery has given relief of some sort… thankgoodness.. 😎
Last pictures of my back show L4 and L5 are touching bone to bone. He said if we don’t go in there and fuse it.. it will fuse itself within 10 years….. 😎 They also want to put my lower back fusion off as long as I can stand it… the arthritis is probably the worst pain I have.. They told me thats NOT gonna go away….KleakeParticipantMarch 16, 2019 at 11:19 amPost count: 545
John , yes I have noticed a decrease in range of motion as time passes. But I am pain free as well, for now.

Saw this yesterday at Bug-O-Rama, Phoenix. Asking $8000.00. Pretty clean, bus trans, 1915/dual carbs. As a plus, seller is in Tucson. Be nice to get something ready to go. Wife wants a play vehicle. Wish me luck.
I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.CorporateKeymasterMarch 18, 2019 at 8:05 amPost count: 431

Detailed one of Glenn’s friends 1969 bug for her. She was pretty excited about the results.
I think she wants to sell it if anyone wants a squishy knobbed late model vert.flat4ParticipantMarch 18, 2019 at 4:01 pmPost count: 1

What is your guys thoughts on running early riveted 16’s on the road? I have 2 sets of 16″ smoothies only two of the wheels are riveted. I have had mixed thoughst from folks. Some say it would be safer to run the welded wheels if I plan on putting any miles on the car. Thanks!JWDIIParticipantMarch 20, 2019 at 12:16 pmPost count: 367
Here is a funny story I think I should share here. Me and my son had the pleasure of meeting Scott Sain at the farm this past season. I have been watching him drag race for years and never met him. He must have made an impression on my 7yr old son! He is learning about fables/tall tells in the 2nd grade right now. He is having to write his own fable. He is writing about a guy named Scott Spane that drag races the fastest VW Bug known to man. He drives the car up and down the east coast from Florida to Vermont and Drag races for fun at different tracks. He has a friend(no name) but he drives the Green Growler. Its a green Karman Ghia and Scott helps him make it faster and teaches him to drive.
He was telling me about it the other night and I was laughing. It seems Scott Sain/Spane is becoming a legend at my son’s elementary school. Thanks for taking time to speak to us Scott.
Have a safe productive day folks!
