Found a few cool pictures from when I had the bug in high school! Glad this car is still around.
Kleake, I’ll do the Utah ski update for the forum today! I’m going skiing today. First time really in like 7 yrs. snow is too good today not to! Have a good day! Crazy to think we’re getting multiple inches in the valley in the middle of March!
Be careful not to break your arm Cole, you need that to climb. Haha
I know! That’s why I haven’t gone skiing in so long!
God, I miss Utah skiing! Best powder I’ve ever had the pleasure to ski in.
I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.
Got to love this global worming. 😎😎😎 Alta got 27 in. Of snow the last 24hrs. And I have not been up skiing since I busted the ribs. Denver was getting hammered by the storm.
awesome snow everywhere!!!! it was as tall as the bus on the side of the hwy today!!!!
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
I want to be like John Jones! 😁😁😁
For the uninitiated, those are discs in the neck between C5-C6 and C6-C7 bulging outward towards spinal cavity and left side nerve roots . Fuuuuuuu…..

BUMMER!!! fusion?

Good luck…

Steroid injections first…that worked well in 2012 for same to discs, and got 7 years of relief out of it. Doc has some concerns about the bone spurs that have started to encase the 5/6 disc (where the little magnifying glass is on the scan), thinking that might limit how much the disc can “retract” back in. If shots don’t work he said disc replacement or fusion, and he favors replacement at this point.
Good luck to you as well! Hope you can get some relief. Nerve pain sucks.
John had cervical spine fusion a few years ago, don’t remember which ones…. but it allowed him to regain feeling in his arms and upper body!
best wishes on your surgery!!!
I love going on adventures in our bus!!!
My 2 cents on fusion vs disc replacement. I had my neck fused, same 5 – 6 – 7 a few years ago. Fusion was my only choice, because I waited to long before doing anything about it. Fusion is a slippery slope, you fuse a disc and it puts more strain on the next disc. Next thing you know, more fusion. Disc replacement keeps your Motion in the spine, not increasing the strain on the next level of disc’s. So don’t wait to long. My son is a spine surgeon in Idaho falls. Dr. Robert Johnson, another way of looking at it, is old school vs new school.
