2018 was a good one, and I think 2019 is to be better.

Stoked for JJ and the Jones family as they were able to accomplish the huge goal of paying the shop off in 2018.

This Saturday, 1/5/19, the Cars on Kiawah episode of “My Classic Car” airs on the Motortrend Network (formerly Velocity) at 8:30 am.  They emailed a few weeks ago and said my Ghia would be in it, so I guess my interview with Dennis made the cut.

I chatted with him for a while, but forgot his name (Curt I think?).  He’s from Charlotte and I believe he runs the 356 Registry.  The SC is powered by a Porsche Super 90.

Thanks John!  I gave KCW mention in the interview, hopefully it survived editing.

Yeah, that’s him.  Really nice guy; I enjoyed speaking with him.  You’ve done a lot of work on that SC, correct?  He spoke well of Monkey Nut.

The 356 Registry had some quality cars at this show; out of 280 +/- cars in the field of all makes/model/origin the cream-colored beehive speedster seen for a second in the episode preview won Best of Show.

I thought it was a good episode.  Ghia is at the 8:00 mark.

Thanks!  I wish the KCW and Triple J mention would have made it in.  I’m still floored Dennis took a liking to the Ghia out of all the cars there to choose from for the show.
