Luck is when preparation and opportunity meet.👊
I was thinking about driving by ABC supply, maybe that truck is in their parking lot and we can see who the hell was on our ass this weekend!!!
“Life is a waterfall,
We’re one in the river and one again after the fall”BAJA! 😎

How about Crashin’ Cole!?!? Good work on the dually.🤫
I have a appointment with Al Johnson Wednesday morning to run the car on his dyno to verify the a/f ratio is perfect.
It’s going on the dyno?? So you’re saying it is a real race car? Wow haha
Also, talked to Jon Baker yesterday. He has a politician friend down there and he is going to look into getting us some safe places to stay/camp while we pre run. So we aren’t totally just out where we aren’t supposed to be. Seems like a good contact to have
I’m loving this thread. I know I’m late to the party (new to town) but I’d like to see if I can help in any way. I work at Runnit CNC / Runnit Racing and we have a Trophy Truck. We won’t be racing this year so I can see what we can do about getting you guys some help. We’re also planning a local off-road race out in the desert. I have a 68 and my next planned project is a Baja Bug. Let me know how I can help!!
Oh man that’s awesome! Welcome! Any help would be appreciated!
We’d love to start doing some more local races as well. Get more experience in our car.
A big thing I keep thinking about it logistics. Like navigation, pits, chase vehicles, pre running, lowrance, driver swaps, vcp’s etc. just strategy type stuff coming from someone that has raced and knows the area I’m sure would be helpful.
Any other thoughts guys? Like I said. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I’m so excited to start racing👍🏼 Let’s kick ass

Very cool to see you in here… Welcome and thanks… 😎 We have been talking about your shop for a while around here.. and are real excited about some local desert racing… We heard about the track you have been working on.. I think it would be awesome to be able to do some local racing in the dirt!!!!!! 😎

We just got back from dyno runs.
Al always has cool stuff at his place.
We will build it if it comes.
Wooohoooo! She rips! I’m good at jetting. Nailed it…just had to back the acclerator pump off a little.
When we get to Mexico we’ll have to go up one size on the main jets to 120 from 115 that we ran here at elevation.
2500-4500 rpm is the prime power range, I’m going to mark it on the tach.
I love that it got dyno’d underneath another car! That place looks sick!

Porsche, ‘65 first year body style. Franz mentioned something about $10g carbs.
We will build it if it comes.
