KB Wants to take this one home. Going to finish up what needs to be done and get it all put back together.
Starting with some front end metal/bodywork.
We will build it if it comes.John JonesKeymasterDecember 12, 2019 at 9:22 amPost count: 7344

I saw this today and it’s a thing of beauty for sure, it’s light as hell and looks like it will be a great addition to the Baja.FranzKeymasterDecember 17, 2019 at 8:37 pmPost count: 3915
Yeah! Good work Cole! I’m stoked on the front skid plate.
You built and welded that together when I had a broken ankle.
Its gonna bounce through the whoops now. 🙂ColeBModeratorDecember 18, 2019 at 10:06 amPost count: 1982
“Glide” through whoops!
Gonna start calling the race car “el delfín” hahahaJohn JonesKeymasterDecember 19, 2019 at 12:18 pmPost count: 7344
Franz is cranking on this one and should have it ready to drive around and beat down the trails tomorrow!!! What a cool car… I hope it gets raced more!!!!FranzKeymasterDecember 19, 2019 at 8:05 pmPost count: 3915
Fits like a glove. What you can’t see is the special upper beam to bumper mount braces to fully support the front skid.
More fun stuff tomorrow. Lights and fuel.
New windshield top too. It was an easy mod. Less wind and less dirt = good. Its about 4″ lower.ColeBModeratorDecember 19, 2019 at 9:06 pmPost count: 1982
Sweet! Looking good! Love all the dove blue in those pics. That’s a race car!!FranzKeymasterDecember 20, 2019 at 7:51 pmPost count: 3915
New Baja Designs rear lights for less amperage draw. And new amber spot lights in the front bumper with special brackets.
I should have it running tomorrow after the fuel tank and battery are installed.
I’m excited to see the lights in the dark. So badass.ColeBModeratorDecember 21, 2019 at 10:54 amPost count: 1982
How’d the brackets up front turn out? All the Baja designs will make it look like a UFO out there at night!
Also, don’t know if you’ve handled this, but the max trax tie down pin doesn’t really work anymore if I recall correctly. Something to look at👍🏼 I think it just needed a hole drilled lower on the pin….John JonesKeymasterDecember 21, 2019 at 11:07 amPost count: 7344
Looking awesome! Love them Baja design lights!John JonesKeymasterDecember 22, 2019 at 11:50 amPost count: 7344
I heard this rig ripping up the parkway this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks so awesome… Going to function just as awesome!FranzKeymasterDecember 22, 2019 at 4:35 pmPost count: 3915
Yeah Cole, there are a few things to do. We need to upgrade/move the fresh air pump for the helmets….And I have the winch bracket and electrical connections to make. Also would like a dash light to read course notes and see switch labels.
I installed the fuel tank and battery yesterday…Thought maybe the fuel would still be good…Not so much. I had to clean the carb, change the spark plugs, drain and refill the tank. Runs tops now, and looks just as good with a bath.ColeBModeratorDecember 23, 2019 at 4:58 pmPost count: 1982
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Cool. I will talk with KB. Maybe I’ll send a new air box your way. I’ll see what he says. Looks great!</p>
