Having your Baja would be cool. But I’m not sure we need it. Plus, transporting and insurance. We could saddle up in the Jeep 4 deep with lowrance….the only thing is we need to plan the sections out for prerun so that each driving team has enough time to share it.
Sounds fine by me… One less thing on my to do list and schedule…. SAND DUNES!!! 8-)!!!!! BAJA!!!!!!John JonesKeymasterAugust 23, 2019 at 6:57 amPost count: 5841
we need to start thinking race car!!!
Cole… when do YOU want to head to mexico? I know I have been saying Halloween but maybe I am being a bit hasty…. 😎 So are we borrowing a jeep?? Or we will have our own?mtnbusParticipantSeptember 19, 2019 at 8:27 amPost count: 865

It was decided this year was not our year to race baja… We are going to continue to work on the car and push it forward… an maybe look into some state side racing.. 😎Pat KKeymasterDecember 11, 2019 at 1:42 pmPost count: 1126
KB Wants to take this one home. Going to finish up what needs to be done and get it all put back together.
Starting with some front end metal/bodywork.

I saw this today and it’s a thing of beauty for sure, it’s light as hell and looks like it will be a great addition to the Baja.FranzKeymasterDecember 17, 2019 at 8:37 pmPost count: 2971
Yeah! Good work Cole! I’m stoked on the front skid plate.
You built and welded that together when I had a broken ankle.
Its gonna bounce through the whoops now. 🙂ColeBParticipantDecember 18, 2019 at 10:06 amPost count: 1317
“Glide” through whoops!
Gonna start calling the race car “el delfín” hahahaJohn JonesKeymasterDecember 19, 2019 at 12:18 pmPost count: 5841
Franz is cranking on this one and should have it ready to drive around and beat down the trails tomorrow!!! What a cool car… I hope it gets raced more!!!!FranzKeymasterDecember 19, 2019 at 8:05 pmPost count: 2971
Fits like a glove. What you can’t see is the special upper beam to bumper mount braces to fully support the front skid.
More fun stuff tomorrow. Lights and fuel.
New windshield top too. It was an easy mod. Less wind and less dirt = good. Its about 4″ lower.ColeBParticipantDecember 19, 2019 at 9:06 pmPost count: 1317
Sweet! Looking good! Love all the dove blue in those pics. That’s a race car!!FranzKeymasterDecember 20, 2019 at 7:51 pmPost count: 2971
New Baja Designs rear lights for less amperage draw. And new amber spot lights in the front bumper with special brackets.
I should have it running tomorrow after the fuel tank and battery are installed.
I’m excited to see the lights in the dark. So badass.ColeBParticipantDecember 21, 2019 at 10:54 amPost count: 1317
How’d the brackets up front turn out? All the Baja designs will make it look like a UFO out there at night!
Also, don’t know if you’ve handled this, but the max trax tie down pin doesn’t really work anymore if I recall correctly. Something to look at👍🏼 I think it just needed a hole drilled lower on the pin….John JonesKeymasterDecember 21, 2019 at 11:07 amPost count: 5841
Looking awesome! Love them Baja design lights!
