Thank you Gretchen! I’m very frustrated at seeing everyone lifting it up and I’m not there to help and share some tequila afterwards!🥃🧂🍋🥃🧂🍋😜

I’m jealous, Juan.  I love these cars, and this one looks soooooo good.

I saw on the Samba that Luis is resuming production & delivery of the bulkhead & floor mats soon.

We we got those cool grab handle base gaskets this morning.

They seemed to be 3D printed plastic, not rubber. I broke one trying to pry the lip around the base. We’re going to need another. Sorry

No problem Franz,.. did you install the other side?, if you did, the supplier sells a set (2 pieces), I could order 2 seals same side, just let me what side you need 👍👍

I don’t know if this is the same plastic material or rubber, but thought I’d share from a Facebook seller:

It would be the right side…closest to the passenger door. ^^ but those NOS GHE rubber ones look better.

Juan, I’m trying to find where to attach the negative battery cable to the engine. Not finding very good reference pictures.

I think going to the dist. clamp like this is incorrect.  Maybe to the engine/starter mounting bolt behind the fan shroud?http://vintagebus.com/56kg/assembly/2103266a.JPG

I think it might be to the bolt that holds the oil filler/breather.
