John’s awake, up and moving around, drinking Starbucks! Doctor said this surgery would probably be life changing. He said it was nasty in there and John’s body had basically created a second socket and there was TONS of scar tissue! John’s shoulder has been cleaned out, repaired and new parts installed!!!!
I love going on adventures in our bus!!!KleakeParticipantMarch 15, 2018 at 8:32 amPost count: 668

I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.tlambertParticipantMarch 15, 2018 at 9:10 amPost count: 309

JJ sighting. He’s back at the compound.
We will build it if it comes.alykatParticipantMarch 16, 2018 at 9:15 amPost count: 466
Probably need to fit him up with a doggy shock collar to keep him from grabbing up tools and going to work. Maybe an invisible fence between the house and shop for a week or so ?FranzKeymasterMarch 16, 2018 at 10:19 amPost count: 3535
Haha. I put Tom’s hood and decklid on the loft behind the big VW sign to keep him from buffing on them. 😎Speshel kParticipantMarch 17, 2018 at 6:10 pmPost count: 108

How are you doing John ? The first week is the worst, after surgery.John JonesKeymasterMarch 19, 2018 at 6:46 pmPost count: 6545
Shoulder hurts.. any movement any way… To be expected I reckon! I had my first rehab appointment today at the VA. The guy said I had more movement already then he figured I would… I honestly think I might have more mobility already, simply from the Block being removed that was installed many many years ago… and they said My arm had started growing another socket out of calcium…. the screws were backing out and rubbing a groove in my bones.. anyhow..
I am doing my stretching and taking it easy……. Thanks for all the kind words….65DlxParticipantMarch 19, 2018 at 8:14 pmPost count: 21
We’re all pulling for you John. Still too cold to do much local camping, but after a couple more rehab appointments you’ll be ready for a night in the bus.
And I think the new shoulder will lead to catching fish this year!!mtnbusParticipantMarch 20, 2018 at 7:49 amPost count: 1106
right on John !
hang in there, youll heal up soon enough
