Ya guys, stop by if you want or need to. I don’t have a big impressive shop, but the bus is up on the lift, and you can check out the new suspension at least.

I have lots of general repair parts, tools for most everything, and if it gets bad, my other shop is a full machine machine shop.  👍🏻👍🏻

Do you guys have much of an itinerary?

Snowing at my place when I headed to the office at 4;00  this morning, but turned to light rain by the time I dropped down a few hundred feet in altitude. Right now the weather can’t make up it’s mind what to do.

well…. The pamper decided to get stuck in 4th gear in moab as we were leaving two weeks ago…   MOTHER FUCKER!!!!   I messed with it for a bit, then called tripple A and got towed back to the shop.. Thats how we ended up in the kombi…. I could out it in two gears, and lock the tranny up, but I couldn’t ever get it to pop out of 4th…

The kombi is AWESOME!!!!!  But I am here to tell you from experience, that panel vans are much better campers!!!  window buses are fun to drive around in,… but nothing beats a panel if you want to camp…  Less windows are warmer, less leaks, less air,  😎  Stays warmer at night for sure…  😎  I miss my stove in the bus, especially when it’s coffee time!!!  I like having ALL my shit when I am out… but anyway..  I’m glad I had a back up bus!  We still had a blast and found a new favorite spot… 😎

Sooo… When we got back to Junction, and my bus sat in 4th gear for 100 miles rocking on the tow truck bed… It popped out of 4th…. and everything seems normal again….. weird….. 8-(  I still think I have gear selector or something loose in there…. I hate to  do it.. but I think I need to tear it down…. damnit…  I feel like I finally got my engine how I want it, now I gotta tear that shot ALL apart again!!! 8-(

I wish I had more excitement in me… My back is killing me..  Which makes a HUGE difference in my attitude..  I want to kick ass… I want to do some shit.. but the only thing that feels ok anymore… is sitting down…  8-(  Any kind of bending over, getting up and down up off the ground is a bitch.

I’ve been trying to lay low all week, and do very very little…  I do feel a little bit better…   a tiny little bit… 8-(

Yeah.. I’m still “adjusting” to this laying low program..  I’m not very good at it at home and only slightly better out on the road.. 😎  although that is my happy place…. behind the wheel driving my bus…. Or making coffee on a cold morning from the same seat…. 😎  😎

Yeah…. I still have questions… mostly when I feel like shit..   They don’t seem to have solid yes or no answers…. 8-(

I wonder if every set back when I can barely walk sets me back permanently a tiny amount?  or does the spine heal?   is every rub of bone on bone vertebra one LESS time till it rubs through? or breaks? or something shitty happens?    Or….. am I at a base line crappy level that should stay consistent for a long time??  Like…. Work as hard as I want?? but know I will be sore.. rest…. repeat??  see what I mean??? 😎  within reason of course… I know I should not lift anything really anymore…. 😎  fight through the pain… it’s ok???

Took the pamper out for a drive today… and something is up with 4th.. Bummer… oh well…

so Andy helped me and we got it out and apart ready to ship to painters tomorrow!!!! go through it again… be fresh for my East Coast trip…. 😎
