GOOD break in run for my cylinders last weekend… I drove it like I drive it!!! In the dirt… 😎  Looks cleaner than it is.. 😎

 

I’ve had sand dunes on the mind lately…. 😎    I really really want to build a Sand Scorcher II!  And I mean a sand scorcher really put together for sand and fun….   I wanna do it with a VW motor… so I need to use weight and rotation to my advantage… 😎

My first Tech Sargent in the air force is coming by to see me this week…  And his son.. which he name after me.. and I haven’t seen in 21 or so years… 😎

I’d sure like to live somewhere up around 10,000 feet after we sell 801 kimball…  😎 The air is cleaner up there… 😎

Getting about time for me to work on something of mine…..   My kombi needs some paint love.  (my wife is scared I will sell it if I paint it though)  My dually needs a refresh too…  oh and I bought that Oval from Mr Ware…  AND the dirty shop is pretty much empty at the moment… 😎  My baja is fine.. but could always use some love… 😎  Not to mention… I have been thinking about a new sand car.. 😎  😎  But I am torn on what I want, a bodied baja doing wheelies?? or a bullet proof ATV?  I’ve had a few banshee’s.. but never a Suzuki LT 500!!!!!!  Quadzilla!!!

Personal projects have really taken a back seat around here lately… Seems we have been just trying to keep our shit running and driving… 😎  Looking back… some of our most exciting projects have been personal projects..  😎

Currently…. I have been trying to sleep in my bus and be on the road as many days and nights as I can this year!!!!!  😎  I think we have like 36 or so nights this year so far… and thats both of us too…. 😎  Getting to 45 this year shouldn’t be a problem…  But next years goal of 60 is going to be tough!!!!! 😎

when we get all this relaxing and vacationing out of our systems…. Maybe I will build something new… 😎  Right now the freedom is just too fuckign nice…  too nice to be working sooo damned hard…  😎

Watched more sand dunes video’s today… and it’s making me itch for a SAND SCORCHER II  !!!  This time, built solely for sand…. but same paint scheme and stickers like the OG one…. See if we can keep it on the wheels… 2 of them anyway….  I’ve been thinking of all kinds of ways to move weight back and loose weight…. It needs to be under 1000 pounds complete…. 😎  and turning brakes for steering…. 😎  😎

 

I’m thinking about sitting in the back seat, and “swiss cheeseing” the pan so you can see through it.. tunnel and all!!! and move the pedals and steering back…. 😎  aluminum beam, lighten everything, wheelie king… 😎 😎  for about nothing… and be able to pull wheelies with a small motor…. Sounds like fun, and something anyone could throw together with junk…. 😎  😎  CRAZY???   DRill out the torsion housing…. LIGHT LIGHT  😎

I almost pulled the trigger last night…. But my back was feeling better for a change last night… so I thought better of it… 😎  I told Corporate that.. and she asked.. “what constitutes trigger pulled?”  I said when I drag it in the shop and start a thread…. then it’s on… 😎  and must be done! 😎

If I drill the holey shit out of everything… maybe I should call it “Holey Moly”8-)  😎   I think this 65 out back is about to give it’s life to my idea… 😎   I was thinking last night…. about drilling patterns into panels… or drill panels according to the body lines.. 3/4 holes everwhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
