Even more complicated but also seems like heat issues on your redux boxes. That’s your 10th set of bearings in there, so no way they were “bad”. Hell I guess you could just drill and tap ports in the side of the trans wherever you wanted. Some 1/8” pipe fittings and some hose.

I like what Rusty said. Use the silver bullet as a tow rig. Upgrade the axles to some beefy ones. Add disc brakes to the front for better stopping power and you’re set. Less bearings to dick with, saves you money and time. Fix the pamper and use it for camping and playing offroad.
The kombi huh:.. there is one thing that worries me about towing with the kombi… It has a narrowed torsion in the back, and the torsions are cut down about 3/4 of an inch….🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
Maybe put some sort of help in the rest? Corvette air shocks????😎😎😎🤫🤫🤫. Lowered buses are enough to worry about, then put a trailer on it.. I did that once…. With the puck and my 57 kombi….

I could see helper bags or air shocks could be an easy fix. I wonder if you could put stock torsion bars back in it and make a longer snout like a late model bug. There are options and with your talent you will come up with something.

There’s the solution. You hire Rusty to drive the pamper for you and you just fly into the race like a baller. It will take Rusty 8 days to get there 😂
John keeps asking how to keep his tranny cool, but doesn’t like any of the suggestions I’ve made… I told him to just put a bay winder transmission in and call it a day 😂

I think for this road trip… I’m gonna put some smaller car tires on my bus.. so, I had the 3.44 r/p and big tires. This will take a little stress off of things..

I would call the guy who left the tag on the input shaft and ask them what oil you should use.

on another note.. my Mri of my neck was good.. I’m not pinched anywhere. But he said my spine is bruised.. at my fusion at C5 and everything down from C5 is herniated, but not pinching off spinal fluid yet…. 🤫🤫🤫🤫👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The nerves in my arms are pissed and I need carpel Tunnel surgery on both wrists.
