February 9th..  I have another back surgery coming up.. L2/L3 needs cleaned out…   They were talking Jan … ✋✋✋✋✋✋✋.  I said we have a KOH race Feb 5th that I shouldn’t miss🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫.   But I think I’ll have to miss Shasta snow trip..  ha ha.. Dust trip🤫🤫🤫🤫

1. I’m sad that you’ll miss SST. I even bought a coffee maker so I wouldn’t have to make bougie pour over for hours pre- Shasta😂

2. we have snow this year, i still have snow here , it’s been so cold, it’s stuck around. They had 5 feet on the summit.

3. As much as I know you deal with these surgeries like a badass, I hope this one helps tons.

4. I’ve been thinking about what you said in another thread about mixing things up event wise, and I’ve been thinking the same lately. Back and forth for me.

5. Ok enough of this Sarah-list….I’ll miss you on Shasta JJ, I told Audrey this , but I’ll be headed through GJ in June so maybe I can take you guys to dinner (ummm wings) and we can shoot the shit.

I have to say, I used to turn my nose up at pour over coffee for camping, but I recently found out that the clean-up process is so much easier that I’ve converted from doing the Jetboil French press. Only if you’re doing small amounts though, so irrelevant for this group.
