I’ve got most the welding done now…    I’ve spent most of the last 5 days on this..   I need a break…   and I need to get back to earning some $$$$$$$$$$$$$&😁😁😁😁😁. I think I spent the last month pushing my shit forward.

We cut right through the wiring harness cutting the roof off… 8-(  Opps… 😎

Things I HAVE to get done before KOH…

1)Need to run a new harness… 😎  easy… 6 whole wires to the back… 😎

2)Trans, needs a new diff and reinstalled.. quaffie I hope…. 😎 I think a quaffie should be legal for swing cars!!!

3)Thinking I need to limit my rear suspension… No more positive camber!!!  fuck… 😎  maybe 1 degree??  I should try and drop the back of my trans to equal the type 1 nose cone…   drop the back 1 1/4 inch’s.  That would also help keep some suspension, while getting rid of positive camber..  I spent 20 years fighting negative camber and raising tranny’s,,, now I want to drop the trans 😎

Pretty fucking funny how things come and go and come back again… 😎  Can’t leave anything stock!!! 😎 😎 😎 NO WAY!

KOH is in February ‘this year!  I got almost 3 months!!  Easy peasy!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

 

I just realized something else.  Putting those shaved 7.0’s on was like running 3.5’s on the ground..    a wider tire has more leverage over the torsions and my car sat lower when I ran those bus tires…

an exagerated example would be when I took the Sand scorcher to the dunes.  I took off Yok’s And put on some paddles.  When I took off, My car squatted sooo bad I needed some coil overs on it!!!!

Wider tires aid in getting it down some.

And I simply don’t need that much ground clearance!!!!   I’m bringing it down ALL the way around👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻✅✅✅
