Got my trans scooted back..  I bet I moved it like 15mm’s or more🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫. Probably have to move the mid mount too…. Long studs in the trans with  some nuts on the trans side???? 😎😎😎😎👍🏻👍🏻🤔.  I put my trans in use my bolt in n shit for 3 years.   Now I have it in the correct spot!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤫🤫🤫🔥😎😎😍😍😍🔥😍😘😘😁😁😋😋😋🤔😎😎😎🔥👍🏻🔥🔥

QUESTION…. I wonder?? If I torch the lower shock mounts and twist them enough to straighten out the shock bolt?  Make the shocks bolts parrellel?  Will it be weak?

So now, my rear suspension and engine are all set off spring plate length and zero toe in ….  🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫. Makes my car longer, makes my arc of rotation larger and adds travel!!!    I’ve got it this time!!!!!

I’ll show my ignorance here….is it possible to remove the end casting from the axle tube a reinstall a few degrees turned, just enough for the shock to clear?

Do you have any split case trans laying around with axle tubes on it?  I wonder if there is a difference in the split case tubes vs early 60’s ones

Yeah I have some of the early end castings.   Have some Porsche ends too..  but all that stuff is short axle..  I need to stay long axle…..😎😎😎

I think I am just gonna move the whole shock….   I measured it yesterday and I only have 5 inch’s of travel… I could put the shocks anywhere..  like right on top of the axle🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
