We had some “extra” bodies around…. 😎 Lucky Jesse….. 😎
It was soooo cool to see that smile on Jesse’s face when he took his first drive out the gate!!! and he had an even better smile later when we adjusted a few things!!! He was ripping it up and down the street!!!! Good for you Jesse!!!! Smiles and satisfaction like that seem to get harder and harder to achieve as we get old…. You had one!!!! 😎68tintopParticipantOctober 29, 2019 at 8:27 pmPost count: 643
Yep I am a pretty lucky son of a bitch to have bro’s at Kcw that love putting VW’S back in action. Still can’t believe I found a 58 pressed bumper bus in a junkyard that people told me didn’t exist. I looked for the junk yard for over 10 years. Finally got a lead on it through a friend that said his family owned the junk yard. Had not been on road in about 40 years was used as a pull behind camper in the 70’s.jpParticipantOctober 29, 2019 at 8:30 pmPost count: 226
Awesome!! Kcw is goddllyyy for getting them up and out!!John JonesKeymasterOctober 30, 2019 at 8:22 amPost count: 5604
KCW has put hundreds.. yeah hundreds of Volkswagens back on the road!! We have stayed true to our word from day one…. through the rough times and good times… we kept building Volkswagens. I’ve always been willing to give up some space and time to help another VW get back on the road, and to help another friend out. Jesse has slept countless times on my couch… and spent countless weekends down here making time for his project… Thats how you get it done.. It’s simply waaaaaay easier to build VW’s here at KCW…. I doubt you will find a better place… Being a one stop shop, we have parts for every VW, and anything you need…. 😎 We have 3 lots full of parts and junk… 😎
With all that said though… I am not signing up for another internship again, ever… 😎 😎 I would like to start moving more of my shit inside the shop, and less customers and friends… 😎 😎John JonesKeymasterOctober 30, 2019 at 9:34 amPost count: 5604
Congrats Jesse!!!!! Proud to be part of another resurrection!!!!! I bet your glad you put them windows in!! It snowed last night… 😎68tintopParticipantOctober 30, 2019 at 10:14 amPost count: 643
