Yo franz. I think the bumper needs a small hitch. Just Incase I need to tow. Trying to get some ideas for a custom bumper and rack. Then a ladder that connects the 2. Unbolt the ladder from bumper to remove bumper. But weld to the rack. Like jones ladder 🤪FranzKeymasterMay 26, 2020 at 1:54 pmPost count: 3639
Mounting up that cooler today. Belly pans make it hard. Going to the front. Safest location.
Found another problem too. Leaking wheel cylinder.FranzKeymasterMay 26, 2020 at 7:27 pmPost count: 3639
I bet your heater didn’t work too well with a big hole in it.FranzKeymasterMay 26, 2020 at 7:37 pmPost count: 3639
Empi 9241 oil cooler fit up and behind the beam awesome. I like the size and construction of this cooler. I’m going to run hard lines though the belly pans tomorrow, along with getting all of the braided stainless/teflon hoses made.
I choose to mount the oil filter inside of the driver frame rail to keep it protected. Shorter lines too.

Yeah! Dial that Rig in!!! Bet Jesse will worry about something else though!!! 😉 Jesse, many times have you been on the side of the road with a broke Bus anyways???? John used to laugh at me and say” Oh God, don’t want a worried Ass Hippie calling me”!!!!
Take advice from the Master, call em up 20 minutes from driving away the shop and say your brakes are hot and your spindles are loose!!!! 😉 😉 🙂FranzKeymasterMay 27, 2020 at 8:40 amPost count: 3639
Welded up some bumper brackets last night. I’m going to tractor supply to get a receiver hitch this morning.FranzKeymasterMay 28, 2020 at 5:13 pmPost count: 3639
Had a little distraction yesterday with an RGB rebuild for some folks passing through from Texas.
Back on the oil cooler install this morning. I just finished bleeding the system. All wired an tied into place. Stoked on this setup.FranzKeymasterMay 28, 2020 at 7:12 pmPost count: 3639
Yo Jesse, I’m fixing that leaking wheel cylinder, thinking we should probably change the oil out of that new transaxle too. Get all the break-in grit out ya know?68tintopParticipantMay 28, 2020 at 9:31 pmPost count: 724
Yep that sounds good. Needs a oil change too the speedo is fresh. So the mileage is like over 2000 from BBB and back then around the valley so a fluids change would be great considering the motor was fresh built before BBB. Thanks franz. Cooler looks nice I think it’s a good location hopefully helps with longevity of my motor.FranzKeymasterMay 29, 2020 at 9:14 amPost count: 3639
I thought I already did a tune-up and oil change after bbb?FranzKeymasterMay 29, 2020 at 9:16 amPost count: 3639
I put some Lucas additive in. Good thick stuff helps keeps the gears quiet.68tintopParticipantMay 29, 2020 at 9:18 amPost count: 724
I don’t think so. Can u check the valves and seeFranzKeymasterMay 29, 2020 at 12:58 pmPost count: 3639
Yo Jesse, do you want to help build the bumper tomorrow? Like get here at 9am type help?😁68tintopParticipantMay 29, 2020 at 11:57 pmPost count: 724
Yep I will see u in the morning. Hopefully before 10 am😜🤪68tintopParticipantMay 31, 2020 at 1:01 amPost count: 724
I made it by 10 and we got some shit done. I wanted a bumper I could stand on or sit on. Haul a bike without putting it up on the roof. Still want a full length rack.FranzKeymasterJune 1, 2020 at 7:07 pmPost count: 3639
Holy welding project Jesse! I’ve been at it all day. Need to do a little scraping and grinding tomorrow, then paint.
