So, is your Jenga game up to snuff???? 😀68tintopParticipantDecember 31, 2017 at 2:20 pmPost count: 722
It’s pretty close. Played a few games at Kcw last night. I need to send them througgg the planet at my buddies shop them wax them so they slide like butter but they do work pretty good. Shit rusty I don’t even have a motor in my bus. But no doubts Kcw can make it?John JonesKeymasterJanuary 2, 2018 at 8:47 pmPost count: 6545
a box of expensive shit came in…. Hope you been hittin boards… 😉 all new brake system… gonna be awesome…. 😀FranzKeymasterJanuary 3, 2018 at 10:41 amPost count: 3539
You got some funky stuff going on. 1968 is a one year only drum..but you have different backing plates. One backing plate is 68 type, and the other is 69-70 type. I did’nt realize. The outter dust seal to the backing plate is slightly different. 69 is larger.
I was able to modify a 69-70 drum to fit 68 backing plate by parting the outer ring.JdawgParticipantJanuary 3, 2018 at 3:51 pmPost count: 448
Franz is the king of hitting the curve ball…Thats the type of solution other shops wont and in most cases cant come up with.John JonesKeymasterJanuary 4, 2018 at 7:12 amPost count: 6545
I agree with Justin… Most shops would have thrown up their tools and ordered more parts… Clean shop handled the speedbump… Hell. most shops don’t even have the tools to do what Franz did… 😉
KCW is a one stop shop.. All your Volkswagen problems can be solved at 801 Kimball.. 😉 😉 😉 we’ve even been known to help with other problems from time to time.. 😉unkParticipantJanuary 4, 2018 at 8:36 amPost count: 38568tintopParticipantJanuary 4, 2018 at 9:02 amPost count: 722
Thanks franz and pat for fixing me up. Got the skills to pay the billz at Kcw that’s for sure and the tools. So blessed to have these guys so close they open up there arms like a family to fix and hang out and make good memories. Can’t wait to camp at BBB. Woohoo?FranzKeymasterJanuary 4, 2018 at 9:22 amPost count: 3539
I get lucky. I thought I seriously fucked-up yesterday.
Those drums are like a $180 each, and would have cost $150 to next day ship. 68 drums are one year only because the backing plate is like a 64-67 style.
Peet is killing it today. Should be able to drive it home this weekend if you want.John JonesKeymasterJanuary 5, 2018 at 8:11 amPost count: 6545
