    Yo Franz thanks for the tune up its running great. I had a little hiccup yesterday I went straight up a big hill and died before I got to the top. It was like 35 in 3 gear the downt to 2nd I was doing like 10 so I put it in first and gave it gas and there was nothing I pumped the pedal and it died and so did I almost it was close. I might need those bigger jets in the carbs because there is no hill climbing power. I also need a brake redivide for the bay bus can u order me one today if u get a chance.  Thanks guys

    I don’t think the jets are your issue. Sounds like you lost gas prime to the fuel pump.

    I not sure you if you got the memo, but I’m done servicing dellortos on buses. 🙂

    Brake resivor. Got damm Dellortos are the best carb out there. We gotta do junk kadrons are repop webbers cmon.

    I know it’s not easy working on the Dellortos. But u are good at it. And don’t quit anything your good at. That’s my motto. If I can swing that stroker motor we are going to prolly need a carb  tune so start looking in the mirror. That’s the hardest part is looking through a mirror to see the jets  and adjust its. It is no fun tried it damm that was a bad day.

    All chuckling aside, I just don’t get why you need constant carb tunes. I never touched my Dell’s unless they came off the engine. Then it was just a balance of the linkage.

    I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.

    I don’t like bringing it up… but my dell’s are the best carbs  I have ever run… My last 2 busses have had 45 dell;s on em….  and rarely have to touch them.. RARELY!!! 😉  😉    I have a hard time believing you would like some repop webers better… 💡

    I’m just saying.

    If I have to tune and pull the jets every month. Webers are easy to work on and run just fine. Love me some empi repops!

     

    Guys with dells in buses can sit around with a mirror and tweezer all day playing tune up. I have better things to do. 😀

    they work fine
