Sweet thanks franz. I have a core I can bring down when I come on Saturday. Needs a few things like a dip stick and stock ignition. Fix the seal on the rear window. Before when I turned it on and off it started but had a grind when u shot it off   Then the starter or the cylinoid froze. Franz is going to work his magic and fix this piece of shit. I want to teach Zoey to drive on a stick shift VW before she drives the OVAL window. She needs to practice on a 3 colored daily driver 66 before she can deserve to drive the 56.

She’s a runner/driver Jesse. The engine runs good and passed the leak-down test at 80%. All the gears are good, no strange noises or anything. The brakes even work…but feels like the rubber hoses are swollen.

I think the wiring is not good. The tarboard and engine seal are also not very good. We should pull the engine and do the clean-up work. The gas in the tank is not good either, it needs drained. So probably remove the tank too.

You should pull the engine and tank this weekend. Maybe take the front bumper off, all the wiring, and the headlights too. Then get started on the body repairs.

I got the 56 Oval out of the blast booth dusted all the sand off and scuffed it up for some epoxy primer. So it can sit Outback while I work the street corner 😜😬. Hope she doesn’t watch cause I am going to sell some junk and take some low blows. But I love VW’s 😘
