Rear frame horns removed and ready to do a transmission drop. Can’t wait to get this bus lifted!JasonSParticipantDecember 19, 2019 at 10:49 pmPost count: 165
Blew out bus again, it’s amazing how much dirt can get in the frame and continue to blow out. Decided to drill a few drain holes to prevent it from happening again.JasonSParticipantDecember 19, 2019 at 10:55 pmPost count: 165
Getting ready to add 3 compartments at the cargo door between the floor and belly pans. They will open inside the bus and house jumper cables and stuff that is in the way.WillyModeratorDecember 20, 2019 at 12:10 amPost count: 1238
Looking awesome! You might run into some issues with those adjusters and your shift rod though…MikeKParticipantDecember 20, 2019 at 9:20 amPost count: 245
This is looking interesting. Great idea on the under floor storage. I had a Bus go through my hands years ago that had a similar setup with padlocks on all the doors. I have a feeling I know what the Bus was used for in it’s previous life.
What are the plans for the suspension? I might have missed it, but what did Franz do on his camper for the rear end?FranzKeymasterDecember 20, 2019 at 9:43 amPost count: 3923
Yeah I like the box idea too. That will be awesome!
The dropped frame horn cradle is probably a better more simple way to get lift, as my junk is all cut up and weird.
I’m running type 1 IRS on stock frame horns. My axle angle is max for 930 CVs at 24 degrees.Pat KKeymasterDecember 20, 2019 at 10:09 amPost count: 1655
