Pat working his magic today and teaching me a lot.
Front floor is ready for new metal
Getting ready for the transmission drop.
Started cleaning out the front beam to add adjusters. I can tell Kelli my wife that I’m not just having fun and working but training for diapers for our kid that will be here in May. Just glad it doesn’t smell like a diaper.
Franz killed it on the adjuster welds! I need a lot more work at it, mine looked like chicken shit or a massive tumor. Guess I’m a grinder for a while.
Yes Jason! Finally getting on it. Kill it
Is Jason sleeping in the bed of his truck again this trip? haha
Finished the adjustable beam, ready to blast and paint.
Removed the log heat tube and piped it into the main heater tube. Pat fixed the gas heater hole and the other hole that was cut with an air hammer.
All the bottom side is complete, now planning on the 3 compartments that will be located between the floor and belly pans at the cargo doors to house jumper cables and other random stuff that gets in the way.
Jason is here, but he is sooooooo focused and is “IN” (living) the KCW experience now! Keep up the hard work!!!!
I love going on adventures in our bus!!!
I have been having a hard time with updates and my phone working properly.
Not in the truck this time.
We decided to remove the dog leg as it was a little worse that we thought.
Finished the beam last night, can’t wait to get this bus lifted!
Pat did an amazing job fixing the ugly hole that was created by an air chisel and the gas heater hole.
Getting ready to plan out the 3 compartments that will be in the floor to the belly pan.
I am having trouble doing updates to the page. I will do them when my phone decides to work or it might be multiple posts.
I’ve been lazy on the update the last couple days. Sorry.
Finished up the long side on Tuesday, minus a front outrigger and jack point.
Jason started fitting parts ahead of me on Tuesday so yesterday was a weld fest for me.
Top hat sections, inner rocker, rear out rigger and jack point, rear outer rocker section, small frame patch, heat tubes, new clutch cable tube, rear bulk head patches, and a fancy heat tube elbow Jason made up.
Fitting cargo door rocker this morning. Going to get the pass side buttoned up today then move onto the cab area.
We will build it if it comes.
These guys are kicking ass!!!! Jason is sooooo Focused!!!! He is getting the maximum use out of his time here!!!! 😎 awesome stuff Jason!!!
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Looks like that steering box took one hell of a hit!
Finished the beam with adjusters
This thing driving yet??
Keep crushing Jason and pat!
Rear frame horns removed and ready to do a transmission drop. Can’t wait to get this bus lifted!
