Gonna build 5 racks.   If Anyone our there wants one…better speak up!

How much?  I’m betting around $2k by the time you paint it, clamp it and put it on the bus!!  If we are lucky, it will be less.

Awesome! The best looking rack out there in my opinion. I will share some pictures in my area and see if we can get any sold. Not surprised at 2k for a rack, steel is expensive! So is paint and wood!, holy shit this stuff has tripled in price 😲. BBB is not far away either and I sure someone will want one there.

I will get the clamps and loops in the mail to you guys that I got for the racks, I think it was for a total of 3 racks.

I was all excited about building some racks.. but then got to thinking about all the setup involved, and your only here for 2 days of the work week… Maybe we need to start on them the monday before you get here..  Have hopefully 4-5 racks done,  Just sell you a rack and you can spend your time making your rack the most bomb rack ever!?!?!?!?!  I am trying to spend as little time on this project as I can, otherwise, well, the racks will cost more than any of us are hoping..  but if I don’t build 5, It will definitely cost too much to build just one… labor wise…    So I need to front the cost on 5 so that I can help you out…   😎 😎 😎

John, having a rack built will be awesome! Totally understand its a pain to make racks, I can spread the word and deliver rack on my way home. Do you know how many are available and roughly how much?

I will also need to make a ladder, should I wait until I get there to get that steel? Need to figure out routing and location and will need KCW team input.

Looking forward to being back at the ranch, its a great time while getting a lot of work done. I will probably take the 6th off of work and I have until Monday if needed.

I have a ladder we can copy that folds..  I prefer permanent ladders…  when I want it, I don’t want to get it off the roof I need on!  And I don’t want to carry a ladder inside my bus!!!

we will start the Monday before you get here and knock all the racks out… we is me included!!!  😎😎😎😎.   It will be the cheapest most production style run we are capable of👍🏻👍🏻😁😁😁👍🏻

Sounds great, the ladder for my bus I want  to mount permanent but it will run wires in it to the rack. If possible I can fabricate that when I get there as it might be more custom than the folding one. I am also thinking of trying to mount it on the corner but we will see how space works out. Fucking custom bullshit.

RIGHT!!!!   Thats how my little crappy roof rack turned into a sky deck and an awning!!!!  The awning has been priceless!!!  and I do love my skydeck!! I don’t get up there as much as I used too…. but.. I still love how I can pie SOOOO much shit up there… 😎

Might need like 8 clamps on the rack I would make!!!  😎  On shasta… the most common break is roof rack legs… So.. If Jason actually plans on rallying this rig, maybe the legs need a gusset or a triangle brace???
