I’d love to come to SEMA this year if anyone can hook me up with 3 tickets
. Is it sold out or something?
It is not open to the general public. My company may qualify for credentials, I guess I’d have to check.

You just have to be in the automotive industry. KCW should qualify and you could get tickets to go.

When do you want to do this work Jason? I’m half way open after the end of the month.

I should order some steel for this rack. You want it heavy duty right? 3/4″ tube. Sky deck? Awning/tent? Ladder? LED lights? Bike tire slots? HWE style? VWOA style? Bekowa style? Profiled to the roof?

    We can do anything!

I need to get the bus on a trailer and bring it down. Maybe later September or first week in October?

Probably best to call and discuss but basically want a copy of the BBOE rack, maybe get that built then we can add to it when i come down. It will have LED lights but will need to bring light down for tab placement. Yes on ladder but it will have several wires running in it and thinking  a placement on the corner of the bus. Definitely heavy duty.Tkn9qer3dxrieqpxtbegqo298cp7qtogd

Maybe deck for wood slats but not sure, I like the looks of just the metal rack. Plan to paint it and hubcaps L345 light gray.

Need to also make the front winch mount.

Want me to call at the end of the month? When is best, mornings, evenings, late week etc?

Chrome and Stainless sounds expensive💰, remember the saying “chrome won’t get you home”

I like this look without the hubcap, reminds me of the popular off road wheels on jeeps etc. 20220823_142346

Here is the tires mounted up! So stoked for these Yokohama MT.

Yeah I really like them so far, hopefully they are just as great on the road. Great reviews in the off road community.

Installed the transmission and we are back on the ground! It’s now on my other lift, I finally feel like I am getting close to the finish. Building the engine this weekend.

I decided that I’m going to touch up the bare metal with primer by hand and not blend a bunch of paint. Remove the bondo and keep all the sanding scratches in it, gives it a rugged  look. I decided no logos like I had planned. The paint is going to come out awesome with a buff job.

Started to build the 2180cc engine.

Matched the oil pump to the case and opened up the hole for better flow on pump gears.

Ground the bearing that covers up the oil hole.

Had the crankshaft, flywheel and pulley all balanced. Compression will be 8.3.

Now it’s ready to fit all the engine tin. These aluminum cases are really fun for this.

Hell yeah! I will bring the light and accessories I plan to have on the rack and that will help us lay it out. I could use some input as I have thought about it 2,000 times.

I will head your way Thursday October 6th.
