I wish it was off the rotisserie or I would. Floor compartments have taken a little longer than planned, I will never do another set. I POR15 the hard to reach areas before welding them in.
Hinges welded in and lid’s welded on. Now fabricating in the panel clips to hold the lids. Then it will be time to welded the floors in and Paint underneath.John JonesModeratorApril 14, 2021 at 7:59 amPost count: 7863
holy time consuming project… Your doing great work.. I really like your t-shirt Cole wears weekly around here… 😎 You know, my third kid… or is fourth?
I wonder how many hours you will have in this bus.. imagine trying to bill a customer for all that work? 😎WillyModeratorApril 14, 2021 at 10:27 amPost count: 1404JasonSParticipantApril 14, 2021 at 11:58 amPost count: 198

Seriously, I bet time wise it is easily 4-5K. constant fitting. Once they are done things should start moving quickly. Safari windows will probably be my next big task, never done a set and I want them perfect aka as leak proof as possible, haha.John JonesModeratorApril 15, 2021 at 8:16 amPost count: 7863

If anyone is interested, I am making T Shirts, also available in women’s and kids. They will be charcoal grey or we can do black if you like. Cost for T shirt is $15 pickup or $20 shipped. Post a comment or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org by June 11th if you want to order one. I need your size and address.
If you missed out on a hoodie and want one we can do that in black, $30 pickup or $35 shipped.
More pics and updates coming on the Bus, Life and family took priority in May.JasonSParticipantJune 2, 2021 at 9:40 pmPost count: 198
So floors are in! I POR15 the inside and now ready to do the bottom of the bus and prep it for sealing wax red color matched UPOL Raptorliner. Then get it off the rotisserie and touch up paint.John JonesModeratorJune 3, 2021 at 6:39 pmPost count: 7863

Yes definitely next year, JJ you are going to have to learn to stay out of the throttle haha as I wont have the rescue truck next year. Unless I tow my rig to events, then the rescue rig is ready to go.
I am hoping to have it completed and driving for the Utah Classic in September. I need to bring it down to your shop for wood panels, front winch mount, roof rack, the full spa polish treatment and possibly paint touch up.
