To be determined. It will get front discs and a 2” narrowed beam.

Yeah. That’s the worst damage. Will require some rust repair as well. D7D06DCC-7599-45D3-B17A-23339E6147F41FE2E0BA-9655-4B91-A193-83551FA46B7CAA02DAD9-5D36-4C38-A875-C061CCA2167A39A99D91-0080-4D7E-A0B6-B71B3AE23087

Was able to get the pass side front body mount/ nut plate & cage/ heater channel/ front bulk head area taken care of this weekend. B43C6390-2E73-4464-9BE8-CE8807DA2911D9804838-6977-4BC6-82AB-441B7B8E250D07AD4F01-0CCF-48D4-A325-D595CD70C4CE68B0888A-71E8-4EEC-A290-EBF20AA2E747

Had some help also. Riley, my son, says he wants to learn to work on cars. Got him all geared up and set him to grinding on the driver front wheel well area. 482C4757-0803-46DB-8086-FAF1CC000C89

He kicked but Saturday and wanted to come back on Sunday for more. So I had him dissect a section of the pass side rocker then we bent up a patch panel. D193B2EB-EDFD-4CEE-8F22-020F8602CA5F

Had to pull the dolly out from under it to access rear heater channel sections next. It’s just a lump in the way in the dirty shop now. Gotta get these knocked out so  it’s back on wheels again.8E5F3C38-4D73-4C92-B2DD-942ED6616AC1BAE468B9-A01B-4FAD-AC58-0094AD8E1C12FAB9BBDF-FCFB-4DD8-85BA-0546E9C0EFEA

We will build it if it comes.

Kick’in ass Pete. Hope that boy of yours keeps it up. We need a new generation of blue collar workers.

Kick’in ass Kendall. Hope that boy of yours keeps it up. We need a new generation of blue collar workers.

I hope to give him the skills so he can have a good job before and during collage. After that hopefully he still wants to stick with it.  He thinks a career in the NHRA would be the best, but says he would settle for a NACAR job.

Just noticed that the NHRA Las Vegas 4 wide nationals falls the same weekend as the San Felipe 250 for Baja.  Decisions, decisions..

    Pat, you coming to BBB?

No Sr.  No bus, no BBB for me.  I know its ok to bring a beetle and you can can with your group, but thats not for me. BBB 2020 ill see ya there.

Awesome progress and great your boy wants to get involved..I wish my dad was a car guy..

My dad Hates! working on cars. He taught me a whole lot about everything else, hunting, fishing, woking your ass off.

Got my love of mechanical things from my Grandpa Dean. He built me my first go cart, all electric, when I was 3 or so.  By the time I was 5 we had put together a tube frame cart with a 5hp Briggs and Stratton. He poured the aluminum hubs and made the leather break shoes.  Also showed me how to remove the throttle stop for full power that he did not inform my parents about.

We will build it if it comes.
