Bus has been great! Been driving it around town that’s about it. The last day off I had was the day I picked it up. So sick of having to work. Schedule should free up next week. Summers going to be great. Want to change out that gear box next winter. Going to have painters rebuild one for me. This thing is geared sooo freaking low. I think it might be one of those alpine gear boxes. I feel like i’m pushing it to hard above 45 mph. That new 1915 engine kicks ass! Way more power than the old one.

Ordered a Classic fab decklid the other day. Question…… Is a BD single cab deck lid the same as a wolfsburg bus? Thats what I ordered it looks right in the picture but was not sure? Have a 56-57 OG deck lid now. Little upgrades!

Been finishing up all these little things on the Bus I never got to last winter. Anyway switched out deck lids need to bring this one down for paint. I’m coming to GJ on thanksgiving. I’ll swing down to the shop. I have this 56-57 decklid that I think Doug Fresh may want. I’ll sell it to you Doug if you want it? Get my phone number from Franz if you do. I thought I had your number but I don’t. Bus is Awesome! KCW KICKS ASS!
