Looks soooo freaking good Franz! Love the side step. RAD!!! I’m sooo ready to have the bus back!
That was fun. Tabs for a wood plank step at the rain gutter.
SWEET ladder FRANZ!!! So… If Wren wants to come get his rig next weekend… I guess I’m gonna HAVE to work on this rig… Franz.. You gotta mental list for me? Or just, Paint the ladder and put all them parts in that little box on??? 😎
Luck is when preparation and opportunity meet.👊
That’s pretty much it.
I’m sure I’ll be trying to do stuff just as soon as I can.
Wren I got that ladder off, finished up the welding…. Ran it out to the blast booth and blasted it… then epoxy sealer and dove grey single stage… Going to be a super nice addition to your bus!!!! I also got the reserve cable out, a new one in and everything working as it should… No more running out of gas!!! Put the new center pin up front and shimmed it just right!!!! Installed the new steering stabilizer and hooked up your heat…I’ll get the engine lid dialed in in the morning and drive it I guess… do some minor repairs to the bumper and install that ladder… almost done… Come get it when ever…

That ladder rocks. I need one for my bus just like it. Can u take a few pics so we can make one 🤪😜😬
That’s awesome! Thanks John. My folks might come up at the end of the week to babysit. I can get a ride down to GJ with them this weekend if that happens. I’ll let you know what day.
Last time I was at the shop that new axle boot was leaking. Will you look at that as well?
I saw those boots leaking.. they were just loose I think…. I tightened em up a little and it got better.. I get it off the lift i bet it won’t leak.
This weekend sounds great…. I will try and drive it a tad before then for ya….
Pics later with the awesome ladder on… I will et you handle your own wood…. 😎 😎

Thanks John! I just ran up to my computer to post that I have a stack of some crazy hardwood here. I’ll use something cool.
I think I have it ready for ya…. I lubed up doors and mech’s, adjusted the pass door and just made things work smoother.
Drives great!!! It gets up on it’s tippy ties when you get on it… 😎 Torsions are probably about as high as you would want them.. I’d still be careful about driving hard into tight turns…. 😎 Your tranny must have a 4.12 R/P.. Your gonna be doing 55 mph from now on…. 😎 Brakes work good, I lubed up the shifter and rod in a few spots where it was rubbing… the gears are all much easier to find… Bus drives nice… It must have a cam in it, and some outlaw heads… it likes to haul!!! and rev!!! I even mounted your church key and holder… 😎 I got about 12 hours in my time.. and you have a few parts too… I assume Franz ordered those WW parts… what about engine parts? New clutch or pressure plate or shit like that?
anyway… AWESOME bus WREN! CYA this weekend…. just guess high and bring cash… I bet it all works out fine.. 😎

Yeah! That bus looks badass!
I had 4 hours on the ladder, 4 hours on the engine, 2 air filters, 2 oil filters 2 carb rebuild kits 1 stick of 3/4 tube and 8 quarts oil…so, that is $200 in parts/supplies, plus the WW parts, and 20 hours.
lifted > lowered
Damn that looks good! I’m more excited about the ladder than the new engine. Engines a 1915 Baby tractor with the bigger outlaw heads. Should have a good cam. Should be a little better than the old 1915. Great job guys. It’s going to be weird driving a non lowered bus again. Its going to be fun! Should be to KCW mid morning Saturday then going to drive right back and try and work Saturday afternoon. I’ll bring you some cash JJ!
sound great Wren…. I look forward to it… 😎

Wren… I drove this to Roosters tonight… I think you must have a 4.37 r/p….. 50 is hauling ass!!!! But it drives great!!!!!!!!
