Camping in the high life. Looks great keep up the great work.FranzKeymasterFebruary 21, 2019 at 8:13 amPost count: 2086
Strait monster trucking. 23 degrees on the spring plates, with about 1.5″ of sag.
The front end is all the way up. I think it’ll settle in after a little driving…. I do like the front end slightly higher than the rear on a lifted bus. Promotes strait steering and small bump sensitivity.Douglas E FreshParticipantFebruary 21, 2019 at 8:44 amPost count: 60
Dang Wren that looks good! Ive been considering the same thing, however after looking at yours I doubt I would be able to get in my garage.WrenParticipantFebruary 21, 2019 at 9:08 amPost count: 79
Its SOOOOO BIG! Should be great! Had a good time the last couple days hanging out in the shop. Franz has been working on my buses since we where 16 years old. Love that I can still get him to help me. Thanks Franz! I was worried about the same thing Doug. I have only one spot to store the bus and was afraid it would not fit. I think it seems bigger than it is cause I’m so use to driving it slammed. It feels like a new bus.BodgocoParticipantFebruary 21, 2019 at 11:53 amPost count: 37
Looks amazing! You’ll be able to take that bus anywhere now.John JonesKeymasterFebruary 22, 2019 at 8:15 amPost count: 4222
DAMN!! I think it’s higher than WILLS!!! I need to crank mine up now!!!!!! 😎WillyModeratorFebruary 25, 2019 at 2:30 pmPost count: 598
Its tall! I’d love to see them side to side. How did you solve the shit rod clearance issue?
Also, I’m almost positive you could do bigger than a 215/75/15 when you crank up the suspension, because the 215/75s fit on stock height busses without any rubbing issues… If you wanted to make it even scarier 😉John JonesKeymasterFebruary 27, 2019 at 10:10 amPost count: 4222
I hope to see some pics of Wren out on some back roads this summer!!!!!! and hopefully doing some camping with us!!!! 😎
I haven’t spent much time in Gunnison… Lets go crash at wrens place!!!WrenParticipantFebruary 28, 2019 at 7:51 amPost count: 79
You are always welcome John! I try and get Franz and Melissa to come up every summer but they are to cool for me. Think you would like Crested Butte but we should do a blue mesa trip for sure. Spend a bunch of time in the summer backpacking but now with this child, I think car camping is going to be the thing. Going to be a great summer.Douglas E FreshParticipantFebruary 28, 2019 at 8:27 amPost count: 60
I always thought a late October/early November camping trip at blue mesa during salmon snagging season would be cool. Fresh smoked salmon next to the lake….yum.John JonesKeymasterFebruary 28, 2019 at 10:44 amPost count: 4222RustabusParticipantFebruary 28, 2019 at 9:30 pmPost count: 1143

Hey if Dougs at KCW can you guys get him to cut and put in the small section of headliner above the hatch for me. He did not have a pattern for me at the time I got them. It would take him like 10 minutes. the piece is in the back of the bus. I asked him last time I was at the shop but then he started talking about the grey aliens or something.
