My list; 1. Fix “White Lightening” with a lift back to stock height. 2. Keep “Blue Thunder” lowered and ready to tow “un-needed” projects to new owners. 3. Keep the Porsche to be buried in. That’s enough work to keep anyone busy for years with just maintaining them.

sell it all and build the Sports mobile and the Split beetle outback….. 😎  Spend all summer down here at the shop working on your stuff..

Have a fresh new fleet for next year, a FAT bank account, and fun projects for the next few months…. 😎  Spend a week at a time down here and you could do most of it yourself… 😎

Amen…. Most square foot on 4 tires…. 😎    I’ll buy that broken down 13 window from ya…. 😎  I owned it last time it was broken… and we lowered it….  Ok……. So this is how we work this out…. You give me white lightening..  I give you back a running driving Sportsmobile..  I will raise White lightening back and make it awesome again… and then you can trade me two project busses for it back… solves lots of problems…  😎  😎  That was funny!

I heard there is someone out there looking for an OG paint deluxe to jack up and make an offroader…. 😎   I dunno….The aces are in your corner Rusty… You were able to keep 6 or so busses under your thumb…. 😎  we ll sold our shit… 😎

Gonna hit Baja and DLX Camper first!! Baja gets the new motor, heavy rear axles, new rear tires, shocks and a good shake down!!!

Bus is gonna get an old (good) redux tranny I have (playing the lottery) fully rebuilt front beam, and I’m gonna build a backup tranny just in case!!!

Whatcha all think of rims and tire size?? I’ve got Bus sets of 14’s and 15’s. 66 should roll 14’s. I want an all around tire, not some noisy, knobby shit that slows  me down!!!!

You’re going from straight axle to RDX and you’re worried about TIRES slowing you down 😂

And my vote is those EMPI Technomagnesia rip offs. Better tire choice on 15s too.

I really like the General Grabbers on my bus Rusty. Good prices on line, are grippy enough for off road; but quiet on the highway.

I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.

Is there a 14” tire that is good or do I need to use my 15” rims?  Tire size???

also, will a stock beam work or should I go with the KCW Uber mod????

More choices for LT rated tires in 14″. I have General Grabbers on my Thing, forget the size, and 205-15’s on a set of bug rims. I’ve put the latter on the 60 panel and they fit fine, close to stock size but throw gravel a lot and are heavier than street tires. Just watch out for nails 🙂20170609_111805

Bigger tires means fewer rotations at the same speed which means the knobby tires make you FASTER! 🏎
