Wayner gave me a great idea when he was here…   why not move the gas tank to the long side???  Hard to get to shit over there anyway.  And actually adds storage space down low!!!

Put the gas door right behind the drivers door?  I think I’ll see if I can find another one around here 😎.  Ever seen a dual gas door single cab?😂😂😂😂😂😂

I wonder if it’s smart to keep the neck long and turn it at the end of the opening. Might help with gas sloshing ???  I am sure you could make a tool chest divider to protect the tank and keep small stuff from bashing it during spirited driving.  Or just try to find a higher capacity tank that fits in there? I am digging the modifications.

I think you are on to something with the beam idea. I wonder if you just make a different set of side plates to drop it 3.5” or whatever the tripple box lift does. That way you are not maxing adjusters out and pushing your wheel towards the front of your wheel well and front edge of the dog leg especially when not under load.  This is an old lifted bus I built over 11 years ago.  It had 7.00 x 15” on bus rims with a cut and turn beam and reduction boxes turned down as much as possible.  It looked like a dog dragging its ass

I REALLY love the look of the original tilt and hoops..   I fear it may come down to what I can get by shasta next year…. 😎  I still have a whole bus to build… 😎  I might be sleeping under a tarp… 😎 which sounds like shit compared to the comfort the pamper offers.. 😎

I’m gonna grind a few welds in the treasure chest area and then do some blasting I think…. 😎  Get the ol girl all cleaned up!!!!!

I mounted the tank cradles and cut a hole for the petcock..  treasure chest area just lacks seam sealer!!!!!!  What a huge area for loading all the shit I take with me👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻  Especially the heavy stuff😎

I have a couple more things to weld under the front floor like the heat tube piece above the beam area.. but could do anytime really..
