Pat added horns + brackets today.
Yeah! Established 2001. I’ve been kicking ass 16 of those 20 years….and Pat has to be close to 10 years now?
I think you guys did my first car in 2004. Franz you were there already. And good old Derrick. And Anthony and his delivery dad! Time to do another one for me!

www.germanaire.comI think Franz did the last few things to this rig today…. It’s ready to go home!!!
Cool looking Beetle!!!
Scott Sain is ready for another build? No…. 😎 😎 😎
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Yeah I was at work until 10:30 last night playing with the tune on this machine. 1776cc with a 1 1/2” sidewinder header 34pict3 carb. 140 main jet, 65 idle jet, and 70 accelerator squirter nozzle….I used the wideband 02 sensor to get these results.
It runs great, tons of power for a simple stock engine, awesome heater boxes, and 75-80mph top speed because 68 is the only year swingaxle to have a 4.12 ring and pinion.
It’s ready to go home after I do a few small things this morning.
Woo Hoo…. Another going home… Good project…. I love it when they leave… and they always do one way or another!!!
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
I could hear a noise in the tunnel when I stepped on the clutch pedal.
So, I had a look below the the e-brake handle, and could see the tube for the clutch cable moving.
The mounting strap to the side of the tunnel was most definitely broken. I cut an access hole to re-welded it, then added an additional strap on top of it.
Welded the access hole closed, and re-stuck the tar board. Ready to go. Photo shoot in the morning. Call this one done.👍

Are you ready for a bus yet?? 😎
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
this thing turned out pretty great
NICE ! What more could you say ?
Tall and proud! This turned out great. The General Grabber tires really give a great look to stock height buses and beetles.
We did add adjusters to the beam and reindexed the rear for the stance on this one. 1 1/2”-2” over stock.
Tires and horns add just enough to make it catch your eye.
I believe Gerhard is going to work on some off-road tube style bumper additions also.
This one turned out Tony…GRRREAT!!!
We will build it if it comes.
Looking SO GOOD. That plain little bug we pushed around the lot in line-up this summer is leaving looking bad ass and fresh 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 LOVE the grabbers… of course 😏
KCW does it again…Fun Size👌🏻
