Real nice OG bus that I certainly paid for. Gary is a real nice guy and even though the price was fair, it was still at the top of my financial possibilities. But fuck it ! its so sweet ! Velvet green !
Super dry bus that I towed (thanks to Bo) from Delta to ridgeway and (of course) drove the rest of the way. Red mtn, molas, coalbank passes. The 1776 motor did just fine. Brakes are good, front end seems good with new tie rods etc.
Im not sure what I’m doing with this thing other than drooling over it as it sits in my garage next to the Fasty. Ill do some tinkering soon enough. It needs tires and I think I have a set of 15″ bus rims. Not much else needed.
I didn’t even know of this thing until Jeff and I were on the phone wednesday morning and he was laughing at Johns post about me already being in Delta for pick up. We hung up and I went to the computer to check out the bus. I was ready to hitch up to Delta after a short conversation with Gary. Calley ended up skipping work and drove me up there and the rest is history.
