The Fargo fucking fucks (big time) so hard I felt like it needed its own page, especially as we move it towards a sale on BaT. They replied to our request and said that they’d be happy to list it on their site but think this would do better with no reserve. I actually agree, stuff like this is usually gets more traction if bidders are sure it’s going to sell. If anyone at the shop wants to keep it, I think we can throw out a shop bid on it and hope it comes home.
Ron mentioned he had some old photos of this thing doing river crossings and stuff in Telluride. I hope he can find those!
Before you go no reserve, consider what happened with the Canadian Mail Truck.
Yeah, pretty different vehicles and situations though. A lot of factors went into that sale. Buggys are hot right now, especially on BaT. We’ve also got our own KCW marketing department that can promote the Fargo how we want to. The reserve we discussed in the shop is so low that it won’t make much difference, and KCW folk can bid on their own as well.
We got the thumbs up from the listing people, sounds like we’re going to be slotted for the end of April, enough time for some more photos/fun. Hopefully tax returns will be burning holes in some pockets.
It’s gonna kill on bat! No reserve is great for this one.
Thanks for including that last awesome photo 🙂
If I had anything in my pockets besides keys, I’d have been trying to buy this thing a long time ago. Best buggy style kit ever produced .
ohhhhh my… thats all I can say……
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
As in “oh my god this is going to be so sick?”
…agreed.
Look what I dug up!
More!
Such a fun car!
I’m ready to bid! Would look good parked next to this:
Hope this sells for a ton. Â All proceeds fund the KCW racing program!
We will build it if it comes.
What on Earth ? Looks like part VW bus, part Jeep, part Land Rover, part Morris Minor , and part other stuff. What is it really ? And the Fargo does look great ,even when parked next to other cool stuff. You should bid high and bid often.
