So my car just as the old alloy filler with a pipe running down through the tins, which from what I’ve read is worse than the factory set up.

What would you gentlemen recommend for a warmed up 1600 that gets worked pretty hard?

    I thank y’all.

You need the breather tube going down, and another for your 1/2 valve cover side and thats all… like the tractor motors.. we call it the double barrel breather tube.. No more boxes needed…. 😎

Like this. The hose goes through the tin and into the 1/2 valve cover.

Thanks guys, Sounds cheap and easy to achieve.

You don’t get oil all over the bottom over the bottom of the engine? Any pics from the valve cover side? Do the tractors rev over 4500rpm though?

Better on the bottom of the engine rather than the top. 😁 Really it’s only a few drops of oil now and then.

Another issue with an engine bay mounted breather box is that the vapors are getting sucked into the cooling fan, the heater system, and cabin air that you breathe…if you’re using heater boxes.

Not the greatest picture, but you can see the hose from the valve cover here.
