Does a good tutorial thread exist for rebuilding the door mechanisms?  I have not been able to find a thread dedicated to it or seen it buried in a build thread.  Any help would be appreciated.   I have put this job off for long enough because I have heard its quite a pain in the ass.

    Not that I know of.

What door you working on? Front bus doors are easy. Cargo doors are not. Most likely they will need some tig welding on the cam inside the mech.

soak/clean with solvent. lube with spray lithium grease.

Sometimes the mounting flange breaks loose. Easy to weld the steel back together.

Yeah pretty much.  Normal maintenance.  I wasn’t able to make it in last year because I was so tied up with new house so its in need of a little lovin.  I was taking the day off as well and could help with some things as well.

I don’t know exactly how busy I’ll be on Friday. But I am sure I can find time to help. Bring it down.
